Pharmaserve NW sits within the Pharmaceutical Division of the privately owned O’Brien Group (OBG), which is based in Liverpool, England.

OBG Pharmaceutical Division activities include contract development and manufacture of Pharmaceutical products, the development and manufacture of natural APIs and flavourings, and sales and distribution of Pharmaceuticals both in the UK and internationally.

Pharmaserve Anastacia Loftus
Anastasia Loftus Site Lead

Anastasia has been with the company for over 30 years. A chemistry graduate, she started her career as a QC analyst and has since held various roles in the company covering Quality Assurance, Quality Compliance, Development, Project Management, Laboratory Management, Regulatory Affairs, Development Management, Business Development and Customer Service. In her role as site lead Anastasia is responsible for all day to day activities on site.

Pharmaserve Andrew Brown
Andrew Brown Group Chief Scientific Officer

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience within pharmaceuticals – all of which has been spent within the inhalation field. Specifically, Andrew worked for 10 years at GSK working on inhalation products with a further 6 years working for Oriel Therapeutics working on generic device development. Andrew has full responsibility for Development across all companies in the OBG.

Pharmaserve Stephen Wellings
Stephen Wellings Group Operations Director

Steve has over 20 years’ experience within pharmaceutical operations. He has worked at a number of large pharma organisations such as Aventis and GSK. Latterly he worked at Baxter Healthcare as Site Production Manager until moving to our sister company Ransom Naturals. Steve has a group responsibility for operations and is responsible for the strategic activities of the operations teams.

Nigel Morton
Nigel Morton Group Quality Director

Nigel has over 30 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical covering R&D, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance. He has worked for large pharma and smaller independent companies including AstraZeneca and Norgine where he has worked with API’s and oral medicinal finished products. Nigel has Group responsibility for the strategic implementation of Quality through systems that are compliant, fit for purpose and enable delivery of safe and effective products to customer and patients alike.

Justin Ingles
Justin Ingles Head of Finance

Justin has over 10 years’ experience in the accounting and finance industry. After initially qualifying as an accountant with Deloitte, and gaining further audit and assurance experience with KPMG Bermuda, he spent 5 years with Everton Football Club in the finance department. He joined Pharmaserve Northwest in October 2017 and leads all finance activities and works with Anastasia leading site activities.

Jennine Clark
Jennine Clark Business Development Manager

Jennine joined Pharmaserve in April 2017. She graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Biomedical sciences and has over 15 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry within sales and sales management. She has also been a key board member in an e-retail business recognised for customer excellence. Jennine is responsible for Business Development and contract negotiations.

Jane Marsters
Jane Marsters Head of Product Development

Jane joined the organisation in April 2015 originally as the Head of Analytical. She qualified with a Chemistry degree from Bristol University and has over 20 years’ laboratory experience, with over 10 years’ working specifically within the pharmaceutical industry. Jane has previously worked at the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute, USA supporting toxicology studies for inhalation products before joining PSNW where she is now responsible for Product development and oversees both the analytical and product development departments.
